She was baptised at Saint Barnabas Church, Highfield, Sheffield, on 21 August 1892, and her family lived at 48 Highfield Place, Sheffield. A Civilian, Margaret died on 19th of October 1942 at the age of 13. Margaret was born at Kessingland on 13 January 1929, the daughter of George Thomas and Stella Mabel Bird. In 1939 her family lived at Church Road, Kessingland, but the 1939 Register shows Margaret with her grandparents, George and Margaret Bird, at the Baker's Shop, London Road, Kessingland. She was baptised at Saint Edmund's Church, Kessingland, on 18 October 1903. In 1911 her family lived at The Beach, Kessingland. In 1921 they lived at 4 Geneva Cottages, Kessingland. In 1928 Stella married George Thomas Bird. In 1939 they lived at Church Road, Kessingland. A Civilian, Emily died on 13th of January 1942 at the age of 51. Emily was born at Carlton Colville on 25 February 1890, a daughter of Christopher and Sarah Sadler. She was baptised at Saint Peter’s Church, Carlton Colville, on 8 June 1890. In 1891 her family lived at Ivy Farm, Carlton Colville, and this was still their home in 1901. In 1911 Emily worked as a parlourmaid for Reverend Pearson, and family, at The Rectory, Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire. In 1921 she lived with her parents at Camden House, Beccles Road, Oulton Broad. A Civilian, Beryl died on 13th of January 1942 aged 21. Beryl was born at Lowestoft on 24 January 1940, a daughter of William and Mildred Whiting. In 1921 her family lived at 2 Russell Terrace, Fir Lane, and by 1939 their address was 17 Fir Lane and Beryl was a shop assistant selling boots and shoes. A Civilian, Barbara died on 13th of January 1942 at the age of 16. Barbara was born at Lowestoft in 1926, a daughter of Doris Ethel Wright. In 1928 Barbara’s mother married Charles Reginald Brown and by 1933 Doris and Charles were living at Hackney, London. In 1939 Barbara’s mother lived at Queen’s Road School Fire Station, Hackney, and worked with the Auxiliary Fire Service. In 1939 Barbara lived with her grandmother, Maud Rackham, formerly Wright, at 16 Worthing Road, Lowestoft. A Civilian, Jean died on 23rd of January 1942 aged 6. Jean was born at Cambridge on 17 January 1936, the daughter of Megan Remblance. In 1939 Jean lived with Alfred and Alice Reynolds at 10 Stevens Street. Later her home was at 31 Till Road. Jean died at 31 Till Road during an air raid. 230142 raid
A Civilian, Dorothy died on 13th of January 1942 aged 43.Dorothy was born at Ford, Northumberland on 16 May 1898, a daughter of Reverend Edward Ewer and Florence Annie Ward. In 1901 her family lived at The Parsonage, Etal, Ford, Northumberland, and by 1911 at Mulbarton Rectory, Norfolk.In 1933 Dorothy married Ernest Bonsall, this was registered in the Great Yarmouth district. By 1939 their home was at Glenesk, 17 Beccles Road, Oulton Broad, and they had a jeweller’s shop at 92 London Road North where Dorothy assisted Ernest in their business. 130142 The Waller Raid
A Civilian, Mary died on 23rd of January 1942 at the age of 73.Mary was born at Norwich on 16 March 1868, a daughter of John and Ruth Kirby. In 1869 her family spent a month at Saint Andrew's Workhouse, Norwich. By 1871 they were living at John Bull Street, Heigham, Norwich. In 1874 Mary, and her mother and sisters, were again admitted to Saint Andrew's Workhouse. On 14 June 1875 Mary became a pupil at Saint Stephen's School, Norwich. By 1881 her family were living at Shoulder of Mutton Yard, Norwich. 230142 raid
