A Civilian, Victor died on 12th of May 1941 aged 21. Victor was born at Lowestoft on 3 January 1920, a son of James and Florence Page. He was baptised at Saint Margaret’s Church on 29 January 1920. By 1939 his family were living at 14 May Road and Victor was a drifter fisherman.  120541 raid

A Civilian, Jean died on 12th of May 1941 aged 3. Jean was born at Lowestoft on 2 October 1937, a daughter of William E. and Irene M. Pearson, nee Runacres. In 1939 her family lived at 68 Somerton Avenue. During the night of 11 to 12 May 1941 an air raid took place and houses on May Road were badly damaged. Alfred J. Turner said that there was a crater in the middle of the road with four houses flattened on one side and the houses on the other side of the road were shattered. He said it was the worst damage that he had seen.  120541 raid
An Aircraftman 1st Class with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, John died on 12th of May 1941 aged 29. John was born at Lowestoft on 11 March 1912 a son of Frederic William and Fenella Woolnough. In 1921 his family lived at 127 Wollaston Road. By 1939 they were living at 1 Cottages, corner, Belvedere Road and John was an under manager with a retail grocery and food distributor.  120541 raid
A Civilian, Mabel died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 62. Mabel was born at Lowestoft in 1879, a daughter of David and Susannah King. In 1881 her family lived at North Raglan Street and in 1891 their address was 314 Raglan Street. In 1901 Mabel worked as a kitchen maid for the Gunn family at Helen Holme, Holland Road, Clacton.  220741 Raid
A Civilian, Susannah died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 67. Susannah was born at Lowestoft in 1874, a daughter of Edmund and Ann M. Redgrave. She was baptised at Saint Margaret’s Church on 4 October 1874. In 1881 her family lived at 22 Mariners Street, Lowestoft. By 1891 they were living at Sudbury Cottages, 1 Bevan Street, Lowestoft, and Susannah was a domestic servant. 220741 Raid
A Civilian, Beatrice died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 24.Beatrice was born at Lowestoft on 23 May 1917, a daughter of Eleanor Gertrude Redgrave, and twin sister of Lily May Redgrave. In 1921 her family lived at 26 Saint Leonards Road, Lowestoft. In 1939 she was still living with her family at 26 Saint Leonards Road and she was an unemployed beatster. Beatrice married Frederick Leonard Harvey, a Leading Seaman in the Royal Naval Reserve, at Lowestoft, in 1940. They lived at 12 Saint Leonards Road, Lowestoft.  220741 Raid
A Civilian, Eleanor died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 60. Eleanor was born at Lowestoft on 29 September 1880, a daughter of Edmund and Ann M. Redgrave. In 1881 her family lived at 22 Mariners Street, Lowestoft. By 1891 they were living at Sudbury Cottages, 1 Bevan Street, Lowestoft. By 1901 her family were living at 12 Sandringham Road, Lowestoft.  220741 Raid
A Civilian, Lily died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 24. Lily was born at Lowestoft on 23 May 1917, a daughter of Eleanor Gertrude Redgrave, and twin sister of Beatrice May Redgrave (later Harvey). In 1921 her family lived at 26 Saint Leonards Road, Lowestoft, and this was her home for the rest of her life. In 1939 she worked as a food packer at the Co-op Wholesale Society (C.W.S.) canning factory on Waveney Drive. Lily, along with her mother, and sister Beatrice Harvey, died at 26 Saint Leonards Road, Lowestoft, during an air raid.  220741 Raid
A Civilian, Pauline died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 17. Pauline was born at Lowestoft on 12 March 1927, a daughter of James William and Emily Cook. In 1921 her parents had lived at 1 May Road and by 1939 they were living at 27 Ontario Road, Lowestoft, and Pauline worked as a factory hand - food packer. Later her parents lived at 26 Ontario Road.  Pauline died at 42 Lorne Park Road during an air raid.Note: the back of 42 Lorne Park Road backs onto the back of 27 Ontario Road. 220741 Raid
