A Civilian, Lily died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 24. Lily was born at Lowestoft on 23 May 1917, a daughter of Eleanor Gertrude Redgrave, and twin sister of Beatrice May Redgrave (later Harvey). In 1921 her family lived at 26 Saint Leonards Road, Lowestoft, and this was her home for the rest of her life. In 1939 she worked as a food packer at the Co-op Wholesale Society (C.W.S.) canning factory on Waveney Drive. Lily, along with her mother, and sister Beatrice Harvey, died at 26 Saint Leonards Road, Lowestoft, during an air raid.  220741 Raid
A Civilian, Dorothy died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 20. Dorothy was born at Lowestoft on 18 August 1920, a daughter of Dennis George and Lily Maud Cox. She was baptised at Saint Peter's Church, Kirkley, on 3 September 1920, and her family lived at 58 Lorne Park Road. In 1939 her family were living at 42 Lorne Park Road and Dorothy worked at a factory (paste and jam?). Dorothy died at her home during an air raid.  220741 Raid
A Civilian, Henry died on 22nd of July 1941, aged 46. Henry is believed to have been born at Whitechapel, London, on 1 January 1894, however his year of birth may have been 1895. His father was Robert Cox. No member of Henry’s family can be traced in any census record before 1921, however Henry and two of his brothers served in the Royal Marine Light Infantry and details of their early life have been found in their service records.  220741 Raid
A Civilian, Benjamin died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 60. Benjamin was born at Lowestoft on 22 June 1881, a son of Robert King and Mary Ann Clarke. He was baptised at Saint Margaret's Church, Lowestoft, on 7 August 1881. In 1885 his family lived at 51 Bevan Street and in 1891 they lived at 12 Grosvenor Road, Kirkley. By 1901 they were living at 17 Beckham Road and Benjamin was a sawyer. 220741 Raid
A Civilian, George died on 3rd of July 1940. Aged 18 months.George was born at Lowestoft on 5 December 1939, a son of George William and Doris M. Youngman. In 1939 they lived at 18 Rant Score East.George died at 14 Rant Score East along with his grandmother Beatrice Baster and his aunt Evelyn Baster.  030740 raid
A Civilian, Pauline died on 22nd of July 1941 at the age of 17. Pauline was born at Lowestoft on 12 March 1927, a daughter of James William and Emily Cook. In 1921 her parents had lived at 1 May Road and by 1939 they were living at 27 Ontario Road, Lowestoft, and Pauline worked as a factory hand - food packer. Later her parents lived at 26 Ontario Road.  Pauline died at 42 Lorne Park Road during an air raid.Note: the back of 42 Lorne Park Road backs onto the back of 27 Ontario Road. 220741 Raid
A Civilian, Edith died on 3rd of July 1940 aged 62. Edith was born at Beccles on 17 April 1878, a daughter of Alexander and Sophia Burnham. In 1881 her family lived at Blyburgate Street, Beccles, and in 1891 their address was 42 Blyburgate Street. By 1901 Edith’s father had died and Edith worked as an assistant to her mother, a dressmaker, and her family lived at 121 Ingate Street, Beccles. Edith moved to Somerleyton, and in 1911 she was a house parlour maid at The Rectory.  030740 raid
A Civilian, Beatrice died on 3rd of July 1940 at the age of 45. Beatrice was born at Kirkley on 11 April 1895, a daughter of Frederick George and Elizabeth Baster. She was baptised at Saint Peter's Church, Kirkley, on 12 May 1895. In 1901 her family lived at 12 Lorne Park Road. From 15 May 1901 Beatrice was a pupil at Kirkley School. In 1911 Beatrice's family lived at 4 Morton Road and Beatrice worked as a beatster. By 1921 her family were living at 60 Pakefield Road. In 1939 Beatrice lived at 14 Rant Score East and She worked as a tin cutter machinist. 030740 raid
A Civilian, Evelyn died on 3rd of July 1940 at the age of 7. Evelyn was born at Lowestoft in 1932, a daughter of Beatrice Elizabeth Baster. In 1939 they lived at 14 Rant Score East. Evelyn, her mother Beatrice, and her nephew George Youngman, died at 14 Rant Score East, during an air raid. 030740 raid
