By 1911 they had moved to 167 Saint Margarets Road Lowestoft.During the First World War Jeremiah served in the Army and he joined the Suffolk Regiment. Initially he served with the 4th Battalion, number 3586, and was wounded, his name appearing in the official casualty of 7 September 1916. Once recovered he was posted to the 8th Battalion. Later his parents lived at 15 Ipswich Road.On 10 January 1914 Edward married Ellen Maria Reynolds at Saint Margaret’s Church. A Second Lieutenant with 13 Squadron, Christopher died on 1st of July 1916 at the age of 18. Christopher was born at Hilton, near Bridgnorth, Shropshire, on 4 April 1898, a son of Arthur and Lady Gertrude Moncton. Christopher’s maternal grandfather was the 4th Earl of Radnor. He was baptised at Worfield, Shropshire, on 24 April 1898. In 1901 his family lived at Hilton House, Worfield, and, by 1911, were living at Normanston Hall, Beccles Road, Lowestoft. A Corporal with 10th Bn., Charles died on 1st of July 1916 at the age of 22. Charles was born at Lowestoft in 1893, a son of William and Maria Turrell. In 1901 his family lived at Seaview Cottages, East Street, Lowestoft. By 1911 the family were living at 29 East Street, Lowestoft.Charles volunteered and enlisted in the Army at Lowestoft. In 1891 his family lived at Back Lane, Aldenham, Watford, and in 1901 at Latchmore Heath, Aldenham, and Frederick worked as a garden boy. Later his parents lived at Round Bush, Aldenham.
