An Engineman with H.M.S. Glory, Richard died on 15th of October 1918 aged 37. Richard was born at Lowestoft on 11 June 1881, a son of Richard and Susannah Draper. In 1891 his family lived at 7 Wellington Cottages. In 1901 Richard lived with his sister, Susannah Capps, and family at 16 Factory Street and Richard was a fisherman. Royal Navy War Graves
A Seaman with H.M.S. Cressy, Frederick died on 22nd of September 1914 aged17. Frederick was born at Lowestoft on 14 January 1897, a son of Frederick James and Ellen (Nellie) Rudd. In 1901 his family lived at Wood's Loke and by 1915 their home was at 36 Rotterdam Road. Frederick attended Yarmouth Road School, Oulton Broad. In 1914 Frederick worked on the trawler Stowe LT 70. Frederick joined the Royal Naval Reserve on 9 February 1914. Frederick was called out for service at the start of the First World War and on 3 August 1914 joined H.M.S. Cressy. An Engineman with H.M. Trawler Falstaff, Benjamin died on 18th of December 1918 at the age of 26.Benjamin was born at Oulton on 10 August 1892, a son of John and Ellen Pitchers. He was baptised at Saint Michael’s Church, Oulton, on 18 September 1892. In 1901 his family lived at Moyse Road, Oulton. In 1911 the family home was at 2 Rock Road, Rock Estate, Oulton. A Seaman with S.S. Vine Branch, Richard died on 11th of April 1917 at the age of 21. Richard was born at London on 8 April 1896, a son of Richard and Emily Eliza Taylor. Between 6 February 1901 and 25 May 1903 Richard attended Saint Martin-in-the-Fields School, London, and at this time his family lived at the Fire Station, Scotland yard. By 1911 the family had moved to Oulton Broad and lived at 2 Providence Cottages, Commodore Road. By September 1914 they were living at 2 Striving Terrace, Oulton Broad, and later his parents lived at 2 Flegg Villas, Oulton Broad. Royal Navy War Graves
