John Krempowiecki Cook

A Private with 4 Motor Ambulance Company, John died on 1st of October 1941 aged 25. 

Son of William John and Violetta Cook of Lowestoft Suffolk. In 1939 his family lived at 1 Pidgeon Cove Cottages, Guestling, Sussex. Previously John’s mother had lived at Corton.

John was captured at Boulogne on 20 May 1940 and then held as a prisoner of war in Germany. John contracted tuberculosis and died ay Kingswartha Hospital, near Dresden.
