Philip William Wharton Dolman
A Private with the 1/5th Battalion, Philip died on 1st of July 1917 at the age of 39.
Philip was born at Pulham Saint Mary Magdalen in 1876, a son of Philip William and Emm Jane Dolman. In 1881 his family lived at Peppys Lane, Pulham Saint Mary. In 1891 they lived at the Farm House, Rumburgh. Later his family lived at Gisleham, before moving to Pulham Market, Norfolk. He was a brother of Gertrude Smith of The Hollies, Black Street, Gisleham.
In 1901 Philip worked as an asylum attendant at Ipswich Borough Lunatic Asylum, Foxhall Road, Ipswich.

Horace Frank Buckler
A Private with the 1/8th Battalion, Horace died on 23rd of June 1917 at the age of 19.
Horace was born at Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, on 10 August 1897, a son of Henry Charles and Mary Guest Buckler. He was baptised at Saint Peter’s Church, Kirkley, on 27 February 1901, and his family lived at 305 London Road South, and this was still their address in 1911. Later his parents lived at 40 Marine Parade, Lowestoft.

Edward Ernest Woolston
A Private with the 10th Battalion, Edward died on 19th of August 1918 at the age of 18.
Edward was born at Lowestoft on 27 August 1899, a son of John and Edith Anne Woolston. He was baptised at Saint John’s Church on 10 November 1899 and his family lived at 36 Stevens Street and this was Edward’s home throughout his life.
Edward enlisted in the Army at Ipswich. He joined the Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment), service number 103380. He was posted to France to join the 10th Battalion.

William Clark
A Private with the 2/5th Battalion, William died on 26th of September 1917 at the age of 25.
William is believed to have been born at Northill, Bedfordshire, in 1891, a son of John and Clara Clark. In 1901 his family lived at Irwell Green, Northill, and by 1911 at Ickwell, Biggleswade, when William worked as a carter on a farm.
William married Daisy Kate Sarbutt at Lowestoft Register Office on 16 February 1916 and they lived at 8 Sandringham Road. Later Daisy lived at 25 Sandringham Road. She died in 1918.

Arthur Grayston Holloway
A Second Lieutenant attached to the 16th Battalion, Arthur died on 24th of March 1918 at the age of 21.
